We are Raimonda and Loris, parents of Giulia and Giacomo, and we’ve always shared a deep passion for travel.
We believe that traveling is one of the most valuable experiences in life — it allows us to discover, grow, and open our minds to the world.

Even though our professional backgrounds — foreign languages and literature on one side, law on the other — were not originally linked to tourism, our curiosity and desire to learn led us, more than ten years ago, to embrace the world of hospitality with enthusiasm.

The Stop&Sleep experience

In 2012, we opened our first property, Stop&Sleep Udine Fronte Stazione, and since then, we haven’t stopped.
Our motto is simple yet represents our entire philosophy: “Offer our guests what we would love to find when traveling ourselves — genuine hospitality, comfort, and professionalism.”

Over the years, our passion and dedication have driven us to grow and expand, creating several welcoming properties in Udine and its surroundings: Stop&Sleep Udine Fronte Stazione, Stop&Sleep Udine Fronte Ospedale, Stop&Sleep Fagagna On the Hills, Sleep In Udine Fronte Stazione and the new Sleep In Friuli accommodations in the heart of Friuli.

Experience Venzone and Gemona

In 2018, we inaugurated Stop&Sleep Venzone Charming Rooms in the medieval heart of the village, and in 2023, we opened Sleep In Venzone e Sleep In Venzone Depandance, two elegant and welcoming apartments located right in the center of one of Friuli Venezia Giulia’s most authentic villages.
In 2025, Sleep In Venzone Mitte, joined our collection — a modern and carefully designed space, perfect for those who wish to stay in the historic center and enjoy a sense of comfort and freedom.
Our journey continues in 2026 with the opening of Sleep In Gemona Charming Rooms, in the center of Gemona del Friuli, designed to be the ideal starting point for exploring mountains, bike routes, and charming nearby villages.

Each property was created with one clear goal: to offer our guests a comfortable and refined stay, perfectly in tune with the local character — a place to truly feel “at home away from home.”
